Sales Account Manager

Join an existing sales team with the prime responsibility of Account Management, countries and customers to be defined according to the profile of the successful candidate. This will involve looking after the needs of existing clients and prospecting for new clients to continue the company's strong growth record. You will be expected to give the high level of customer service SCIPAC is known for.

Your duties will include regular contact with clients via phone, email and visits to build strong customer relationships. Pursuing concerns, providing technical information and relating to the other departments to ensure customer’s needs are met in a responsive manner. Work as part of a team and support the other members of the team as needed.

You will have a friendly personality and should enjoy working together with other people in a team on a common target. You will be able to adapt to different cultures, since SCIPAC exports 90% of its turnover. Excellent communication skills are essential. You will be expected to visit various countries about 6 weeks each year. You will have a knowledge of the diagnostics industry and ideally some experience with the antibody market and products.

A Biochemical / Biomedical qualification and some commercial experience are important.

A new role, real opportunity in our growing international company. You will be part of the Marketing team with plenty of room to demonstrate your initiative in support of the Sales team. The role entails liasing with the other company departments to coordinate the demand, information flow and resourcing of products. Researching the world market place for potencial products. Gathering price and technical information. Helping to produce technical information on SCIPAC products.

You will have a degree in Biochemistry, preferably with additional knowledge of Physiology and Diagnostics. Writing technical articles for internal and promotional use will require an excellent command of English writing skills, taking into consideration the international nature of SCIPAC's business. Having a friendly manner with the ability to teamwork with people at all levels in the company is essential.

The role is based in Sittingbourne.
