Key Personnel
Stephane Argivier – Managing Director
Stephane joined SCIPAC in the spring of 1999 and was appointed the role of Marketing Manager. He previously worked in product management for the life science industry, following an academic background in both business and biotechnology. He was appointed Sales and Marketing Director in 2001 and progressed to Managing Director in 2008. Stephane is responsible for the achievement of the Strategic Business Plan, identifying new business developments and potential growth areas.
Simon Packer – Technical Director
Simon joined the SCIPAC team in 1989 after working as a medical microbiology R&D scientist. He became Manufacturing Director 1991 and now holds the position of Technical Director. He is responsible for all aspects of technical PR and growth opportunities for the business.
Jackie Lorimer – Financial Director
Jackie joined SCIPAC in 2009 after working as the Finance Controller for a Kent based Aerospace Company. She was quickly appointed Finance Director, and is now responsible for the direction of all of the company’s financial activities.
Steve Raeside – Resource Director
Steve joined SCIPAC after graduating from the University of Kent in 1997. Since then he has worked with in both the production and contract manufacturing groups with a heavy emphasis on quality assurance. In 2001 he began to focus on the companies culture and performance and became resource director. His roles cover culture and performance, IT systems and managing the SCIPAC site.
Alex Leyshon – Sales Manager
Alex joined the SCIPAC team in 2011, from our sister company BBInternational. He has many years of experience working within sales in the IVD industry. His roles and responsibilities will focus on the company sales strategy and caring for both new and existing customers.
Barry Clarke – SunnyLab Division Manager
Barry joined SCIPAC in 2003 from a background in medical and research laboratories, moving into technical sales about 10 years ago. He is now responsible for SCIPAC’s ecommerce solution; SunnyLab. This is targeted to small businesses, academic institutions and research facilities, offering small quantities of biomedical products through a quick simple purchasing system.
Keli Stockbridge – Marketing Manager
Keli studied Chemistry at the University of Surrey in the UK before joining the SCIPAC team, where she has been working in the marketing department for three years. Within her role she uses her technical knowledge to promote the product range, by highlighting the technical applications of the various product types.
Phillip McKeown – Operations Manager
Phil joined Scipac in July 2010 from a background in Biochemistry. For more than a decade Phil has been extensively involved in biological processing and finishing operations. He has set up small biotechnology operations and worked in an Operations management capacity for companies including Genzyme, Pfizer and Medimmune Vaccines.
James Steggles - Commercial Manager | SCIPAC Antibodies
James completed a PhD in Biochemistry at Cambridge University in 2004, and is the author of a number of scientific publications. Since graduating, James has performed a variety of Business Development and Marketing roles for a major player in the life science reagents industry. James joined SCIPAC early in 2011 and will be focusing on maximizing SCIPAC’s antibody product range.
