ANCA positive plasma

ANCA's or Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, are a group of antibodies against antigens in the cytoplasm of neutrophil granulocytes. Scipac offer two types of ANCA;  pANCA and cANCA. pANCA (protoplasmic-staining anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies) most commonly target myeloperoxidase (MPO) and cANCA (classical anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies) most commonly target proteinase 3 (PR3). The samples are tested negative for HIV antibodies, HIV antigen, hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis C antibodies and HCV.
